Add No Sql Panel

Overview

The Add No Sql panel serves as the initial engine selection gateway for integrating non-relational (NoSQL) document or search-based database systems into the DataFloem platform.

This screen requires users to designate their target NoSQL database architecture before proceeding. Depending on the selection, the panel will dynamically render engine-specific authentication schemas and endpoint parameters (e.g., Connection Strings / URIs for MongoDB, or Cluster / Host parameters for Elasticsearch) in the subsequent step.

Access Requirements

To access this page, the user must either have Administrator privileges or the CREATE permission for the Source module.

The CREATE permission allows users to create new groups. Users without administrator privileges or the required permission cannot access this page.

If you do not have the required permission, ask your administrator to grant it from one of the authorization pages below.

Authorization

Users without the required authorization will receive the following error:

Access Denied

You don't have access to this resource.

Prerequisites

Before selecting a database engine and advancing, ensure that:

  • Network line connectivity is established between DataFloem and the remote NoSQL server/cluster.
  • You possess valid database credentials provisioned with adequate query and index read/write permissions.

Interface Elements and Options

The interface features a guiding prompt alongside two primary database selection action blocks:

Option Description
Elastic Select this option to initialize the integration workflow for Elasticsearch search and analytics engine clusters.
MongoDB Select this option to initialize the integration workflow for document-oriented MongoDB database servers and clusters.

Workflow Execution Steps

  1. Click the Add No Sql action button on your source/target asset dashboard to trigger the side panel.
  2. Select the NoSQL database engine aligning with your data infrastructure (Elastic or MongoDB).
  3. Upon clicking a provider, the system will dynamically route you to the core configuration form to capture connection strings, host/port parameters, and index/database scope paths.
  4. To abort the selection wizard entirely, tap the close (X) icon located in the upper-right corner of the panel.
