Add Image Panel
Overview
The Add Image panel enables administrators and platform engineers to register and manage container image definitions (Docker / OCI container images) from remote container registries for use across DataFloem Studios, Workflows, and Execution Agents.
Images configured through this panel serve as standardized container templates, ensuring that platform runtime workloads are spawned using precise registry endpoints, repository paths, and version tags.
Access Requirements
To access this page, the user must either have Administrator privileges or the CREATE permission for the Images module.
The CREATE permission allows users to create new groups. Users without administrator privileges or the required permission cannot access this page.
If you do not have the required permission, ask your administrator to grant it from one of the authorization pages below.
Authorization
Users without the required authorization will receive the following error:
Access Denied
You don't have access to this resource.
Prerequisites
Before registering a new Container Image, ensure that:
- The target container registry host (Registry URL) is active and network-accessible (e.g., Docker Hub, Quay, Harbor, ACR, GCR, ECR).
- The designated container Repository path and associated version Tag are published and available in the registry.
- Appropriate pull secrets or access permissions are pre-configured on the platform for private container registries.
