Images Module

Overview

The Images Module is used to manage container images within the DataFloem platform.

An Image represents a Docker container image that can be deployed and executed within Kubernetes or other container orchestration environments. Images are used by DataFloem components such as Agents, Studios, and Code Flows to execute workloads in isolated container environments.

This module serves as the central repository for registering and managing container images available within the platform.

This page displays all Images registered in the system.

Image Information

Each Image contains the following information.

Field Description
Name Name of the container image.
Description Description of the image.
URL Full repository URL of the container image.
Create Date Date and time when the Image was registered.
Update Date Date and time of the most recent update.

Image Repository

Each Image references a Docker container image stored in a container registry.

Container images may be hosted in:

  • Private Docker Registries
  • Public Docker Registries
  • Cloud Container Registries

The registered Image can later be selected by other modules such as Studios, Agents, or Code Flows when creating execution environments.

Notes

  • Every Image represents a reusable container image definition.
  • Images are referenced by multiple modules across the platform.
  • Images should be accessible from the Kubernetes environment where workloads are executed.
  • Multiple Images can be registered within the same DataFloem installation.
