Locked Jobs

Overview

The Locked Jobs page provides a centralized view of all Jobs that are currently locked within the DataFloem platform.

A Job can be locked by the user who is actively working on it. Locking prevents other users from modifying the same Job simultaneously, helping to avoid conflicting changes and ensuring data consistency during development.

Each locked Job displays the user who currently owns the lock, allowing administrators and team members to identify who is working on a specific Job.

Access Requirements

This page is available only to users with Administrator privileges.

Only administrators can view and manage SSO Provider configurations. Non-administrator users cannot access this page.

Users without administrator privileges will receive the following authorization error:

Access Denied

You don't have access to this resource.

Managing Locked Jobs

This page displays all Jobs that are currently locked.

From this page you can:

  • View all locked Jobs.
  • Search and filter the locked Job list.
  • Identify the user who currently owns the lock.
  • Remove a Job lock when authorized.

Locked Job Information

Each locked Job contains the following information.

Field Description
Name Name of the locked Job.
Description Description of the Job.
Locked By User who currently owns the lock.
Create Date Date and time when the Job was created.
Update Date Date and time of the most recent update.

Lock Management

A Job lock can only be removed by:

  • The user who originally locked the Job.
  • A user with administrator privileges.

Users who do not own the lock and do not have administrator privileges cannot remove the lock.

Once the lock is removed, the Job becomes available for editing by other authorized users.

Notes

  • Locking prevents multiple users from modifying the same Job simultaneously.
  • Locked Jobs remain visible to all authorized users.
  • Only the lock owner or an administrator can remove a lock.
  • Locking helps prevent conflicting changes during collaborative development.
